Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Simply Southern Couponers recently received the opportunity to review items from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I was browsing around and found lots of cool Ninja Turtle products for the boys. They each have their own favorite Ninja Turtle, so when they watch it on T.V. they each have a character. They think the show is funny and they love running around the house playing their favorite turtle.

Brief history about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first originated from a Comic book published by Mirage Studios in 1984. The first series was created by Kevin Eastman and co-creator Peter Laird in Dover, New Hampshire while trying to make his co-creator laugh by drawing weird anthropomorphic turtles holding ninja weapons. While they created four normal looking turtles they soon became mutated into humanoid forms that we see today after they came into contact with a weird glowing ooze in a underground New York Sewer. A rat name Splinter soon joined them and began teaching his ninjutsu to his new adopted sons but not before giving them each a name: Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo. In 1987, this series turned in to an animated series on television than ran until 1996 then retired. But in 2003, the turtles were resurrected into a new series up until 2009. Nickelodeon announced in 2010 that they would be broadcasting a new animated series in 2012 and an action film was also in the works.

As you can see in this picture the boys each received their very own Costume Shell Turtle Shirts. Andrew and Ty insisted on getting a costume shirt likes Eli but they were out of their size so we had to do an Adult Medium in case you are wondering why their shirts are bigger. I washed them but they did not shrink so I know they can wear these shirts and enjoy them for a while. Andrew’s favorite turtle is Donatello, Ty’s favorite turtle is Leonardo and Eli’s favorite is Raphael. As I am writing this review the boys are wearing their shirts and playing.
