Mayfield Summer Berry Swirl Ice Cream

Summer is here and the days are getting longer and warmer here in South Carolina! If my boys had their way about it, they would spend almost every moment outside playing! You can find them building forts, pitching a tent for a campout, or tossing around a ball. I love to encourage them to savor every moment that summer has to offer because as we all know, the days are fleeting and within weeks we will begin shopping for back to school.

Mayfield Creamery has been a big part of our summer so far! We have been making time to cool off with a dish of ice cream after an epic play session or ball game. I love that this summer staple is available at Bi-Lo, Publix, and Kroger in my area so that my kids can experience the one of a kind decadence of that Mayfield Creamery offers like I did years ago. I love that they offer so many different flavors! You can count on finding the iconic flavors of summer like chocolate and vanilla, but be on the lookout for some unique offerings that you won’t be able to resist like Lemon Ice Box Pie, Summer Berry Swirl, Sea Salt Caramel Cheesecake and Candy Jar Crunch. You can even add it to the top of one of these blueberry muffin mix recipes! Visit Mayfield Creamery’s website and find a store near you.

 Mayfield Creamery Berrry Swirl

Mayfield Creamery has been a traditional favorite in the South for many years. It all started in 1923 and over time, 3 generations to be exact, Mayfield has created a recipe for sweet success with their line of ice cream! The difference lies in the quality of ingredients and the amount of pride put into the product. You will find Mayfield brand makes a superior product simply by using fresh cream from a real dairy with no artificial growth hormones. While the packaging has changed, the ice cream has not!

Mayfield Creamery ice creams are ideal for savoring the simple moments of summer. On a hot day, ice cream is the solution to a Monday night dessert, or a cool way to welcome a friend over for a play date. Enjoying Mayfield Creamery at the end of picnic would be a great treat, too! Just don’t forget your cooler! With such a great line of ice cream flavors, you can mix it up to make any night a little sweeter and cooler with Mayfield. I love that I can beat the heat and keep the house cooler by not baking, and still be greeted with cheers for dessert with Mayfield Creamery ice cream.

If you have a favorite memory of eating Mayfield Creamery ice cream with your family, I would love to hear about it in a comment. I can remember having ice cream cones with my family for dinner as a child as a tradition on one of the hottest day of the summer. We have been known to keep that going at my house now that I am a mom. Sometimes, the simplest traditions like eating a favorite treat together can create a memory to be treasured for many years!
