DIY: All Natural Window Cleaner

I have been trying to make my home a fresh, clean environment without relying on chemicals to achieve my goal. One of my favorite cleaning products to make is all natural window cleaner. With three little boys in my house, it seems like there are always fingerprints and smudges somewhere, so this DIY all natural window cleaner is one of the most common used things in my home cleaning supply arsenal!


With just a few ingredients you likely have on hand you can make a wonderful alternative to the blue stuff available in stores and your windows will be incredibly clean!


1/2 C vinegar
1/2 C alcohol
2 TBSP cornstarch
4 C water
1 Spray bottle


Combine all liquids first in your bottle
Gently shake, mixing well.
Add cornstarch and then shake again
Add essential oils of your choice.
Add spray top.
Shake before using each time.
You can use old newspapers to wipe down your windows.
