When becoming a parent it is hard work but the most rewarding. The truth is, sometimes those of us raising kids could use a little advice. And with mom and dad living far away, wouldn’t it be great to have a trusty friend nearby. That’s where Parent Pal comes in. Parent Pal, from ShopYourWay.com/ParentPal, is a free service that offers real-time, personalized guidance and advice on topics and products related to raising children. Experienced, knowledgeable moms and dads respond to inquires via text or email within minutes. They’re even many parent bloggers who have created their own blogs to help others out there.
When I became pregnant with my first son, I knew I would have many questions because it was a new experience for me. I would go through times where I wish my mom could’ve been here with me instead of over 1000 miles away in another state. I didn’t get the chance to go shopping with her to help me pick out the things I would need or what most of the things where to be used for. My biggest fear I felt when I became a new mom was breastfeeding. I know in the hospital they show you the correct way and what to expect, but after getting home I always wondered how many times was he suppose to be eating, when I should’ve pumped milk and would he still be getting enough to eat if I was pumping to. Instead I had to rely on my instincts and the love for internet to search for answers to my questions. The great thing about the internet is that there are other moms and dads out there that have the same question or even other questions that I didn’t know about so I was steadily learning.
Becoming a parent you are learning new stuff everyday whether it’s your first or third child because there are so many new things and information that its hard to keep up. I am glad there is a place where not only moms and dads can go but also grandparents and babysitters to get their questions answered because their are experienced moms and dads who have been there. We all have questions and it doesn’t every hurt to ask questions or ask for help. I am glad I found Parent Pal so that I can share with all of my moms, dads, grand parents, babysitters who need their questions answered right away and family and friends can’t always be there when you need them but Parent Pal can.
Anyone can use the service, and perhaps, be invited to be a Parent Pal too! Shop Your Way Members will be directed to relevant products that will help them with their parenting needs.
Was there a time you needed advice or a question answered right away and could’ve used Parent Pal?
