I think all parents can pretty much agree on this one. The one thing we look forward to is when our tweens start getting independent and ready to do stuff for themselves. This includes many things, folding their own clothes, putting their clothes away, and even making their own breakfast. Even though tweens want to act grown up and independent, doesn’t mean that they want to eat the adult cereals. Hey, they got to be a kid still right?!
I was browsing around Kroger the other day and my boys and I made it to the cereal aisle. We love to shop at Kroger and they always have the newest products and goodies before most other grocery stores. My oldest is entering the tween stage and is totally independent, and that has been pretty cool. He loves to fix his own breakfast, but he doesn’t exactly care for the kiddie cereal that my two younger kids eat. We stumbled upon Tiny Toast Cereal. This is a cereal that my son enjoyed growing up, but now it is a bit more sophisticated and flavored. He just couldn’t wait until the next morning to try out his cereal.
Tiny Toast is currently available in two flavors; Strawberry and Blueberry. Each serving is packed full of goodness and contains only 9g of sugar! This cereal is packed full of so much goodness, that it is the perfect start to any morning for your tween, plus it takes them down memory lane to their favorite childhood cereal.
Check out more about Tiny Toast:
- No artificial flavorings or colors.
- No high fructose corn syrup.
- Each piece contains real strawberries and blueberries.
- Made with whole grain oats.
If your kid is a little older, no worries!! Teens love Tiny Toast just as much as anyone else. The cereal is the perfect size to throw a handful in a Ziploc bag for them to take on the run or for a snack between classes. Adults can even love Tiny Toast too! I can’t wait to make a delicious strawberry parfait over the weekend with a Tiny Toast crunch.
