As a child, I was intrigued by the film The Wizard of Oz. I watched it every time I knew it was on television. It was one of those films that are a family favorite, a timeless look into cinema and best of all, it is an exciting story.
When I heard about Lost in Oz: Extended Adventure, the series, I knew this was something I wanted to watch with my boys. Lost in Oz premiered on 12/12 and is an Amazon Original Special for Kids. The animated look at a classic tale with modern twists is a great option for families, as parents will appreciate the fresh look on the classic movie and kids will be drawn to it, looking forward to each episode.
Lost in Oz began with a girl finding her mother’s journal and being transported from Kansas to the modern day Emerald City.
The animation in Lost in Oz is terrific, the fresh take on the story is refreshing and it is a great way to revisit a story from your youth in a way your children can appreciate and enjoy at a younger age. I think this is going to be one of our favorite animated series for families! We can’t wait for the next episode!
