Life of a Southern Mom is very excited to be bringing you Little Charmers over the next few weeks! We recently had a fun viewing party full of crafts, treats, toys and of course, Little Charmers! In this post, we will be covering the fun crafts that we did while waiting to watch our Little Charmers episode. We love these fiesty little friends and they remind me a lot of my daughters, so I knew they were going to love our viewing party.
My girls just could not wait to start crafting. They are both huge fans of Little Charmers (even though Aubreigh is 6) and love to watch it when they can. Inside our magical box of fun, we received tons of cute supplies and everything we would need to create totally sparktastic headbands and bracelets. We went a little different and instead of doing bracelets we decided to make magical wands along with the headbands. They were all super easy to make!
For the magical wand:
Take two pipe cleaners and twist them together. Then we took the end of the twisted pipe cleaners and made a circle out of it. Once we did that, we cut several pieces of ribbon (about 6 inches) and tied them around the circle we just made. Finally, we took sparkles and placed them on the ends of the ribbon. Voila! We were ready to create fun and magical spells alongside Lavender, Hazel and Poise!
For the headband:
Now this is a design my daughter came up all on her own. She took one of the headbands that we received and first cute a pipe cleaner in two. Then she took them and wrapped them around the bottom portion of the headband. She then took some of the gems and placed them along top of the headband. Finally she took a piece of the ribbon and made a bow out of it. I love that she was able to be so creative and showcase her talents in an awesome and fun way.
We are all ready to watch the newest episode of Little Charmers!! Make sure to check back in a few days to see what we thought about the newest episode and what all we did during our viewing party!
