Carmex® has been around many years. When I say years I mean Carmex started in the late 1930’s by Alfred Woelbing. Like most people he suffered from cold sores, unlike many people he had a thing for kitchen chemistry and plenty of entrepreneurial spirit. In 1937, he began making Carmex by hand, and poured the lip balm into the familiar capped jars in his kitchen. Over the many decades about 100 people including Alfred’s grandsons use the original formula in its trademark little jars and have expanded the product line to include Carmex’s Moisture Plus, as well as skin care soothing products. Today Carmex has a wide variety of products to help treat cold sores, dry, chapped lips, dry skin, dry, cracked feet, cracked skin and even provides protection to your lips from the sun.

I received four sticks of the Limited Edition Carmex Moisturizer Plus. This moisturizer have SPF 15 formula with ultra-moisturizing, satin-shine lip balm. These four new pattern designs just in time for the holidays, you’ll want to stock up now. With the cooler weather coming up my lips stay chapped. Everywhere I go I have some kind of lip balm with me, but what I use the most is Carmex. My husband actually got me started on this brand about ten years ago and I haven’t switched to another brand yet. I even let the boys use it when their lips are dry. I had the opportunity to work with Carmex and review one of their new holiday lip moisturizers.
