Nominate the Unsung Hero in Your Life for a Holiday Award

South Carolina's unsung heros giveaway

Do you have a person in your life who improves the lives of others with their courage and service?

Do you feel like this person has never been properly recognized for their efforts? If you’ve ever wished you could do something to recognize a hero in your life, you have the opportunity this holiday season!

The Joye Law firm has decided to award three local South Carolina heroes with $1,000 prizes this holiday season. Their Local Hero Contest has been founded to reward local SC citizens who have improved the lives of others through their acts of bravery and service.

The prizes will be awarded in December, just in time for Christmas.

Any South Carolina resident can nominate another South Carolina resident for one of the prizes.
The winners and their acts of service and bravery will be shared on the Joye Law firm’s website
and social media channels.

Entries are due on 11/01/2019.

If you or someone you know wishes to nominate a local hero for one of these prizes, the next step is creating an essay that explains why the nominee deserves the prize. The nomination prompt is as follows:

To nominate a local hero, the entrant should write an essay of 600 words introducing us to the person you consider a local hero. Explain why the individual should be recognized for his or her deeds.

We are prepared to be overwhelmed because we have encountered a number of people over the years who deserved recognition for their selfless and heroic actions. We know that they are out there.

Nominations can be made through the contest’s webpage: The Joye Law Firm Right Here.

The partners at the Joye Law firm are looking forward to reading about outstanding SC citizens. They hope that this holiday contest will encourage people to recognize and honor the everyday heroes in their lives.

The lawyers at the Joye Law Firm believe that everyone should be involved in giving back to
their community to the best of their ability. They give back to SC residents with their annual
scholarship, their annual local hero contest, and by giving to many local charities, such as the
Charleston Animal Society.
