It is almost Spring break and we are all counting down the days until it gets here. That means no school for nine days, no homework, no getting up at 6 am, no packing lunches, no studying for tests and no stressing to see who has to do what on which day. We just had the first day of Spring come and go and the kids are naming all kinds of things they want to do and see. As a parent we all know have heard the saying “I’m bored” how many times? Way too many times for this momma. So with the kids wanting to do, I am all for it. No time to be bored with our first thing on the to-do list. First up is to see the new entertaining, comedy for all audiences SING Special Edition movie pack. It’s jammed packed full of fun that will keep the family entertained.

From Illumination Entertainment, the studio that brought you The Secret Life of Pets comes an animated comedy about finding the music that lives inside all of us. Sing stars Academy Award ® winner Matthew McConaughey as Buster Moon, an eternally optimistic koala who puts on the world’s greatest singing competition to save his crumbling theater; Academy Award ® winner Reese Witherspoon as Rosita, an overworked and underappreciated mother of 25 piglets desperate to unleash her inner diva; Scarlett Johansson as Ash, a punk rock porcupine with a beautiful voice behind her prickly exterior; and Taron Egerton as Johnny, a young gangster gorilla looking to break free of his family’s felonies.

SING is the musical comedy event of the year!

The boys are getting ready for movie night and their own auditions.

We received a huge SING background, buttons, t-shirts and more to make our movie night a one-of-a-kind. What we love about this film is that there is humor, and things that are relatable such as one of the many lessons to be learned is to teach children never give up and keep believing in yourself. Even as adults it’s a great reminder that we can do it. This movie is so unexpected with event worthiness that will keep you wanting more and for the ending not to come. This has been one of the best movies we have seen as a family in a while. Our family recommends everyone to watch it.

We all gathered around for family night to join in with all the hilarious humor and music. Oh, did I mention MUSIC…. These characters will make you want to grab a mic and get up and dance. The auditions were fun to watch and see who will actually win because they are all great.

Who will win it all? Watch and see!!!
