The holiday season is upon us, but it’s not the nation’s favorite food holiday that has us day dreaming about pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes. This month we’re all about Friendsgiving, a popular take on Thanksgiving when friends come together to celebrate good food and great company.

Whether you are planning a Friendsgiving feast or sticking to your traditional Thanksgiving routine, show your kids why friends are worth bring thankful for with this month’s picks. Explore lessons about friendship from a few of the greatest duos, including Rory and LorelaiCharlotte and Wilbur and Bob and Larry, whose all-new Netflix original, “VeggieTales in the House,” starts streaming Nov. 26.

Cucumber Rolls with Veggie(Tales) Cream Cheese

Celebrate the launch of VeggieTales (or just enjoy a pre-Friendsgiving snack) with cucumber roll-ups stuffed with veggie cream cheese. Anything can go into cucumber rolls, but for this version we’re sticking to sun-dried tomatoes for Bob the Tomato, a celery stalk for Frankencelery and baby carrots for Laura Carrot. There is nothing like having a family movie night with the kids or just me and the hubby. I remember the first time I watched Charlotte’s Web. It is a movie that just sticks with you even 15+ years down the road. I knew my boys would enjoy watching this movie not only because of the unknown friendship that happens but because they love animals. I am glad I get to enjoy little moments like this with the boys that hopefully they will remember just like I still do from years ago. This movie is a great kid-family movie that everyone can enjoy. Also another one of our favorites is Fox and the Hound. Well, we don’t have the second movie but I seen it listed on this month’s movie list and just knew the boys would love to see the second movie. So this is how we spend most of our lazy Saturdays or even Sundays lounging around in our PJ’s watching movies while streaming on Netflix.

Netflix is only $7.99 – $11.99 depending on if you want HD, Ultra HD and how many screens you would like to play at one time. Still, this is an awesome deal and beats paying those high prices for television packages.   StreamTeamBadge
