Life of a Southern Mom recently had the pleasure of working with Epiphanie on reviewing one of their products. Epiphanie was founded by a professional photographer Malie Wilson, who has been a photographer for over fifteen years. She was on the hunt for a new camera bag as she was tired of carrying it in her purse. She wanted a bag that was cute and wasn’t bulky or one that looked like a mans bag. She came up empty so she decided to create her own line of cute, stylish camera bags for women. In 2009, she launched with only three designs which has now expanded to twelve designs and over 60 different bags that not only accommodate cameras but also laptops and even a line of backpacks for men.
I received Epiphanie’s Stella camera bag in Hot Pink for review. Pink being my favorite color, this beautiful bag was to hard to pass up. When I opened my package my new bag was inside an Epiphanie storage bag with zipper closure. I was blown away at the size of this camera bag. It is huge and can hold lots of goodies inside for your camera. This bag can easily hold your camera with attached lens, one to two short lenses, one long lens, battery pack, extra batteries, memory cards, and more. You can also turn this bag into an everyday bag by easily removing the customizable dividers. The straps are braided and have tassels that give this bag a chic-hobo vibe. The inside is lined with a very soft white lining that has extra padding to help protect your camera and accessories. It measures 14″l x 8″W x 8″H and only weighs 2.5lbs. It is made with water-resistant, high-quality synthetic leather. It also has the cutest camera key chain with diamonds (not real, of course) that I love.
My new Epiphanie Camera bag now carries my Canon RebelT3 EOS, 18-55MM lens, two battery charges, SD memory cards and my video camera. I still have plenty of room. As shown in the above picture you can see I still have two slots that are empty, an inside zipper pouch and three outside zipper pouches that are also empty. I could easily carry my phone, debit/credit cards, cell phone, keys and anything else I would like to carry while using this roomy bag. I love being able to carry my Canon Rebel T3 EOS in this beautiful pink bag now instead of my dingy black bag that it could barely fit in. My other bag was not roomy and only had room for my SD memory cards, lens cap and camera. I have been looking to buy additional lenses but haven’t had anywhere to store them and now with my new Epiphanie Camera Bag I can carry the lenses and much more.
