Doodle Hugs was founded in 2012 by Karon White, who has been crafting for over 30 years. She uses your child’s artwork as her inspiration and crafts a soft and huggable toy. Each design she makes are one of a kind. She uses a wide range of fabrics and the toys are stuffed with new hypoallergenic 100% polyester fiberfill.
Simply Southern Couponers had the wonderful opportunity to review a Doodle Hugs Stuffed Toy from Karon! My oldest, Aubreigh has become quite the drawer. She wanted to learn how to draw Gary from Spongebob, so I showed her and now that is all she draws is a snail. When Jennifer told me about the opportunity from Doodle Hugs I couldn’t say yes quick enough. She asked for a drawing from Aubreigh, and earlier that day she drew what I have started calling, Cyclopes Snail.
She wanted to draw a rainbow snail, not sure where she came up with one eye at but it is still adorable!!! We then emailed the picture to Jennifer for her to email to Doodle Hugs!
It didn’t take long for us to receive Cyclops. I was very surprised with how much detail had went into him. He looked exactly like his picture even down to his cute and crooked antenna. He is about 14 inches long and about 12 inches tall, so he is a very good sized snail.
Aubreigh has loved seeing her drawing come to life, and as a mom when she gets older I have something very special to hold on to from her childhood.
You can get your own Doodle Hugs for as low as $65, which in my opinion is a great price for something as detailed as the work Karon does at Doodle Hugs. Once my youngest gets a little older I plan on doing the same for her.
Giveaway will start June 4th, 2013.
