Our party is way late because we had family come in unexpectedly, my mother in law was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer, terrible weather and other unexpected family health problems my husband and I have been dealing with. With that being said the boys and I just done a small little party just us.

Life of a Southern Mom was honored to be apart of Disney Side @Home Celebration. Inside my Disney Side @Home Celebration Kit included everything to turn our home into a magical Disney celebration. It arrived in a purple American Travel Tourister Luggage and inside included Disney plates, napkins, cups, balloons, tablecloth and a banner. Also included in our kit was Disney tattoos, stickers, Disney Bingo, trivia, and face painting kit, HP Photo card packs, a Disney vacation planning DVDs, Disney cookie cutters and cupcake wrappers, 6-pack of Craisins Dried Cranberries and coupons, measuring cups, recipe cards from ABC’s The Chew along with Social Media Tools to get our party started.

Since we are a family of boys Mickey Mouse Party-ware was perfect for our theme. We just celebrated Ty and Eli’s birthdays with Monster Trucks along with our family and friends so we decided to have a small Disney Party with just the five of us. We wanted to keep it as a family so we could decorate, bake and party as a family. The boys seemed to enjoy this way a lot better than being bombarded with so many people they couldn’t focus on the actual party itself.

We decided to do our little party this weekend just the 5 of us. I can say the boys really enjoyed themselves and were “wowed” at the decorations. We made brownie pops, cake pops with sprinkles, and cupcakes with blue frosting. We had a combination of the Disney movie Frozen and Mickey Mouse as our theme. We grilled hot dogs for the boys, ribs, potato salad and baked beans for us. We watched the movie Frozen while enjoying our desserts and the boys colored some pretty pictures with stickers and made their Mema Get Well Soon cards.

Greg and I I love the American Travel Tourister Luggage because it is very light weight only weighs 8.4lbs. Even though it is purple we can both easily use it when traveling. We both have been trying to decide when the best time would be to take the boys to Disney World. Greg went when he was younger but I have never been and really want to take the boys. I am not sure if there is a “right” age to take them, but I want all three to be able to enjoy their time, ride the rides and we all experience Disney World together. I am glad that we were finally able to host our Disney Side party and show our Disney side.
