I recently had the pleasure of working with a company called Creamery Creek. Creamery Creek is happily owned by the Shumway family, who are located in Wasatch Front in Lindon, Utah. The Shumway’s have been raising goats for nearly 25 years and making goat milk for 12 years. They make their soaps in small batches and hand make, pour, cut or mold each bar. Goat Milk can have a variation in color, shape and weight because it is hand made.

Upon the arrival of my package I couldn’t get over the fragrance that was coming from the box before I even opened it. The smell was fantastic. I couldn’t wait to open and start using. There were three bars inside my package including Peach De Vigne, Mediterranean Sea Salt and Lime Sugar. I have never tried goat’s milk soaps before but I have talked to a few people who use it all the time and love it. The Peach De Vigne is also known as the “Grapevine Peach” it is regarded by many to be the finest peach on earth. Its fragrance smells just like the most delicious peach you will ever smell. The Mediterranean Sea Salt bar this fragrance is not strong at all. It has a relaxing smell to it. The Lime Sugar fish bar is simply refreshing and I love the shape.

Goat Milk Soap has been used for centuries as a moisturizer. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated and is gentle enough to use on any type of skin. Goat Milk contains amino acids and vitamins to help nourish the skin. It also contains Caprylic acid which is a natural antimicrobial as well as vitamins and minerals including Vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, C, D, E, and K. The Oleic acid, Glycerin, Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids help to nourish the skin as well.
My favorite scent is the Mediterranean Sea Salt. I placed this on my sink in our bathroom and the scent just filled the entire room. I do not like strong scented fragrances and this soap was perfect because it smells fresh and clean. When using the fragrance stays on your skin even after a while of being used. It lathers great and leaves your skin feeling moisturized and also has a silky feel. I also like the other two fragrances and have placed one bar in our downstairs bathroom and the fish shaped Lime Sugar bar in our boys bathroom. They love the shape and each one of them use it instead of their Kandoo soap. What I also love about Goat’s Milk is that is hypo allergenic and having a little one with Eczema he can use it and it will not irritate his skin.

If you are looking for a natural, moisturizing soap to use for your skin I highly recommend Creamery Creek. They have a wide variety of soaps with different scents and even unscented soaps as well. The prices of these soaps range from $5.50-7.00 and very worth the price. These soaps would make great gifts to give.
