What does it mean to you to be the “perfect” valentines? Do you find yourself doing little things all year long for your loved one? Valentine’s Day is one of the most celebrated holidays that we can enjoy.
To me Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean flowers and candy it means spending time with the special someone you love. Sometimes with our hectic lives “romancing” one another can get pushed back, especially when you have a family but that doesn’t mean we don’t care about one another or love one another. It just means our love is that much stronger as we don’t have to do the little things all the time to remind one another that we care. To us we already know that and we show and do things when we can and that is what really matters to us.
As we are only days away from Valentine’s Day tune in to the Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Valentine’s Day, featuring five original movies in preparation of the world premiere of Anything for Love starting February 14th at 9PM EST. Be sure to check out all of the movie listings with times right here.
Who says you have to celebrate Valentine’s Day just one day? Why not celebrate the entire week. Here are some easy ideas:
- Write little notes to each other or surprise your loved one with a note or two.
- Plan a movie night or two during the week.
- Make their favorite meal.
- Surprise them with a sweet email or text.
- Go out to dinner or catch a drive-in movie.
- Take a walk under the stars. Be sure to bundle up if it is cool outside.
- Give small gifts. Nothing expensive just a little something that lets them know you are thinking about them.
- Make a special meal together or for him/her. Dessert??
The options are endless of what you can do for one another.
Greg and I plan on having dinner at home, maybe put something on the grill and make a little dessert before we settle in with the Hallmark Channel. I plan to spend sometime that day watching several movies I have picked out before the Countdown to Valentine’s Day premiere. I can’t wait as I have been watching several of the Hallmark Channel’s movies getting ready for Valentine’s Day. There is nothing like a good movie with falling in love or finding love.
Tune in to the Hallmark Channel’s movie marathon starting Saturday morning at 11AM EST to get you in the mood for the final Countdown of Valentine’s Day movie, Anything for Love at 9PM EST. Share your Valentine’s Week plans and excitement for the movie premiere of Anything for Love using the hashtag #CountdownToValentines on Twitter @HallmarkChannel and Facebook.
What are your Valentine’s Day plans?
