Conscious Box is dedicated to introducing you to the most ethical, sustainable, and honest businesses that create the purest products available. Conscious Box is committed to overcoming the problem of greenwashing. Greenwashing is a tactic that many businesses use to lead customers to believe something is green, when it really isn’t. Conscious Box strives to reduce waste and increase efficiency, in turn using 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard, recycled tissue paper, and vegetable based inks for printing. Conscious Box is a supporter of jobs in America, making it more like a family business.
Simply Southern Couponers had the opportunity to try out Conscious Box. I loved it before I received it. Conscious Box is a subscription service, where every month they send you a box filled with “green” goodies.
The items I received:
Essential Living Foods: Coconut Sugar (retail value $5.49) I tried this out this morning with my morning coffee and oh my goodness was it good. It added just the right amount of sweetness to my morning cup of coffee + the body absorbs its sugars slowly and has time to burn them off, preventing the “blood sugar spikes” we associate with sweet foods.
Konared Hawaiian Superfruit Antioxidant Shot- (retail value $2.99) KonaRed has an extraordinary level of nutrients and antioxidants that get absorbed at the cellular level and are known to help prevent disease, delay aging and provide a long-lasting mood boost. When I was feeling a little sluggish today I tried this out. It truly is “Paradise in a bottle” I instantly felt happier and had a little energy boost
Natural Veggie Wash Spray – (retail value $2.49) When it comes to anything my girls put in their mouth I am very protective. I usually wash every fruit and veggie with vinegar but that adds a really sour taste. With the Natural Veggie Wash, the fruits and veggies still got cleaned and had the sweet and crisp taste they are supposed to. Plus it came with a $1.00 off coupon!
Everly Thrive Natural Drink Mix – (retail value $1.50) This product is not available in stores yet, so I was super excited to try it out. Its made out of all natural ingredients and there are no calories. It’s a yummy way to change-up a plain glass of water
Facial Moisture Serum- (retail value $3.25) – I thought this product was ok. It felt really heavy on my skin and felt a little greasy.
Caveman Fuel Beef Jerky *Peppered* (retail value $3) I love beef jerky and this one was so good! It wasn’t as tough as most beef jerky is which is a plus! The beef is raised free range and no added growth hormones!
Seventh Generation Mandarin Refreshing Facial Cleansing Cloth (retail value 20¢) I used this after putting the previous facial stuff of my face and my skin felt instantly clean and free.
Dapple Baby Dish Liquid – I used it to clean my little girl’s sippy cups. Its a sample size, there was just enough in there to do their dishes. It also came with a $1.00 off coupon
Q Speed – CoQ10 that supports heart health, cellular energy production, and supports exercize performance
Nuturme Plump Peas (retail price $1.19) My youngest loves this stuff. I mixed it up for her and cut her up some carrots and she dipped the carrots into the peas
Splash artisan Soap I loved the smell of this. It was a very orange smell. I have kept it in the kitchen and have noticed a slightly softer feel to my hands.
Coupons and additional reading material.
