I have been on a relentless pursuit to find the best mom cars that don’t look like minivans. My search was motivated by my hatred of our old, out-dated minivan. At one time, I was thrilled to own my family ride. Now, I can’t stand another moment of jumping in and out of that horrid Brady Bunch on wheels. I want a new vehicle and I’m sure some of you can relate. Yes, the thought of a brand new car, unleashes the inner diva in me. To satisfy my new car hunger, the new 2015 Dodges will work just fine. After viewing the line for yourself, I’m sure you’ll agree they’re two of the best mom cars that don’t look like minivans.
Let’s face it! The fast-paced life of a multi-tasking mother, requires what I refer to as a “Diva-licious, Mommy Mobile”. Never mind the opinions of our children who may beg to differ. Today, we moms are the #1 Divas around these parts. So therefore, a suitable ride is an absolute necessity. Of all the Diva Mobile candidates, my first vote goes to the 7 passenger 2015 Dodge Caravan. When it’s time to purchase one, I’ll take the candy-apple red model please.
The Dodge Caravan redefines family minivans. This baby is by far, grandma’s van. The outer appearance of this beauty, captures that sophisticated appeal which I desire in a vehicle. Visually, it’s obvious why the new look is more attractive compared to the common minivan style.
At first sight, the 2015 Dodge Caravan will make you forget any other car. Makes me think some Dodge engineer heard mention of my complaints. The exterior design of this minivan is hotter than fire. It vividly projects luxury from every visual angle. It’s said to drive like it’s floating on air. The Dodge Caravan packs a variety of favored features.
The 2015 Dodge Caravan has 81 different interior configurations. Crazy right? This means there’s countless options for hauling, loading passengers, and even customizing space capacity.
Finally, this concludes my Caravan review. Another family size car that doesn’t look like a minivan is the Journey. Still in the Dodge family, the Journey could become the mommy vehicle of the year . The Journey’s upgraded feature easily converts from a 5 to 7 passenger vehicle. It has the advantage of minivan space, minus the boring minivan design.
So far, the 2015 Dodge Journey seems to be in a caliber of its own. The Journey appears more compact than it’s actual size. Nevertheless, it’s rumored to haul as much as an SUV. It can pull up to 2500 pounds which is why it has the number one towing capacity in its category. It even utilizes front seat space with fully reclining, flat-laying seats.
What really sold me on the 2015 Dodge Journey was the integrated, fold-away, booster seats. I was in awe when reading about this feature. Do you know how many hours are lost in a day due to retrieval of the booster seat? No more going out the way to snatch the booster seat from daddy’s car. Just fold-down and strap off-spring into safety.
Don’t know about you, but my crystal ball predicts a test drive in my future. To get the most from your test drive, I encourage you ladies to search the best mom cars you think are better than minivans.
